So Giffnock station is getting a footbridge with lifts – that will save the annoying detour to get back to the Fenwick Road from soutbound trains when you have a buggy or pushchair.

Now if only the council could make some quieter walking routes towards Whitecraigs; a start would be a footpath on Berryhill Road.

Unfortunately that part of the world is not very pleasant to walk around, particularly if you have a kid in a pushchair.
