On day 2 we hiked from Vorderkaiserfeldenhütte to Stripsenjochhaus. Because the chances for experiencing a thunderstorm in the early afternoon were relatively high, we sadly decided against taking the panoramic (and much longer!) route traversing several peaks and took the direct one instead. Nevertheless a nice day!

Elevation: 1300 m to 1600 m
Ascent/Descent: 625 m ↑ and 435 m ↓

Oh yes, the railroad bridge over the Milwaukee Trail. It was one of the first things I photographed after I moved here.

This is the first time in black and white.

I have images of it in every season, I think. It’s also still operational, though that’s rare.

The variable, roller coaster weather of spring drives my sinuses crazy some days.
