@snrub your statement shows a basic misunderstanding of politics. It's not as clean of a process as we wld like it to be (eg we need to #EndCitizensUnited and #GetMoneyOutOfPolitics) but ultimately politicians are beholden to the voters. so after the election when enough people clamor for change, they must enact the change, because that's literally their job description. there are many, many examples of this over the years. Politicians serve the people. Which btw is how you know Trump isn't one.

Politics, in America, France, UK, Canada, India, Pakistan, Australia, in fact pretty much everywhere, is totally broken.

Where once politicians were mostly serving the public now they just serve their donors.

If you have money then buying a politician can be a great investment. If you don't then it sucks to be you.
