I am about to start working on #IndieConnector version 3, and I need your help! In this post, I describe what I plan to change and would like your feedback and ideas. So if you are a user or you want to use it, please let me know what you would expect from the new version.

Today I released the first version of a new tool designed to simplify the configuration of my Kirby plugins.
Neulich habe ich eine spezielle Webapp gelauncht: Die "Standardanweisungen für Rettungs-Sanitäter". Optimiert als PWA mit vollständiger Offline-Version, die sich bei vorhandenem Netz selber aktualisiert und ohne Netz ganz brav den letzten bekannten Stand aus dem Cache anzeigt. Dazu eine JS-Livesuche und eine geobasierte Umkreissuche der nächsten Krankenhäuser.
Der Dokumentenviewer mit den Flussdiagrammen speist sich aus Visio-Dokumenten, die als SVG exportiert werden und beim Rendern on they fly automatisch mit Querverlinkungen zu bekannten CMS-Pages versehen werden. Crazy Stuff.
Inhalte werden mit Kirby gepflegt und bei Bedarf per Knopfdruck komplett statisch rausgerendert für die Live-PWA.
Es ist 2026, und ein neues Blog ist seit heute online, powered by #KirbyCMS und dem schönen #Komments Plugin von @mauricerenck – es handelt sich um Stefan Stiener, den Gründer und Ex-Inhaber von velotraum (die besten Fahrräder der Welt, im übrigen), für die ich lange Zeit die Website betreut hatte.
Jetzt hat Stefan die Firma verkauft, schreibt „nur noch“ privat und hat ein minimalistisches Design bei mir bestellt:
A former client of mine needs to get their @getkirby website updated and give some technical support. They also want to move to the @thezeroclub ZeroOne theme.
The client is US-based and in the accessibility space.
I have built the previous version of the site many moons ago, and would be available to talk through the details.
I think it’s a good project for a freelancer for around 2 weeks.

After months of writing, I am happy that I can finally announce my first Kirby course! We will build a blog together! It's not available yet, but it's not far away. If you like, you can already pre-register and will be the first to know when it's ready.
This release of the IndieConnector improves response collection from Mastodon and Bluesky. Hosts and users can be blocked directly in the panel. It also makes locating configuration issues easier:

Der Website-Workshop gestern war wieder super! Alle Teilnehmenden sind mit geringen oder keinen Vorkenntnissen in den Workshop gegangen und haben am Ende des Tages ihre eigene simple Portfolio-Website launchen können.
