Very sad to hear of the passing of comic legend #GerryConway. One of the things I admired most about him, aside from his writing for stories like "The Night Gwen Stacy Died" and his creation of the Punisher, was his speaking out in regards to the right's highjacking of the Punisher's symbol and his efforts to support #blacklivesmatter. #RIPGerryConway

RIP Gerry Conway, one of the most defining voices in comic book history. He started writing 'The Amazing Spider-Man' at only 19, the same age as Peter Parker, and at 20 he wrote one of the character's most impactful storylines with the death of Gwen Stacy. He co-created the Punisher and Ms. Marvel, he also penned the historic 'Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man: The Battle of the Century' crossover, the first ever between two major comic book publishers, and is widely credited as one of the writers who brought darker, more consequential storytelling to the medium.
