After more than a year I finished viewing the 23 #TimothySnyder 's lectures The Making of Modern #Ukraine https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLh9mgdi4rNewfxO7LhBoz_1Mx1MaO6sw_ . Each about 50 minutes. I suggest everybody should go through this intellectual and emotional experience. Clear English, subtitles with translation possibility available. Goes way beyond narrow story. Contains insights important to understand the Universe around us. #MyEU #GermanyEU #colonialism #imperialism #agency #StatesEU United States #evil #courage ... 🇺🇸 🇪🇺 🇺🇦 🇷🇺

Hello world,

With the #russiaukrainewar ongoing, #TrumpIsALiar attempting a second term, #China clearly stating that it wants to usurp #taiwan and #fckafd on the rise in #germanyeu together with other #rightwing parties gaining ground in #europe, I am very concerned and wondering what I can do, besides vote in #euparl2024 in June 2024.

And I haven't even mentioned the #climateemergency, and #biodiversitycrisis.

Any hints on where to get involved are highly appreciated.

Happy New Year 2024!

L’Allemagne contre l’Europe ?

Are certain acts of Germany aganist the EU more serious than "usual" acts of member states against it? My answer is: yes. What about you?

For which acts and why they are or are not "more serious" see https://eupolicy.social/@Veza85UE/111586110092848559 the paper mentioned there and the following conversation.

Perspecitves from Germany and the rest of the member states would be interesting 🙂

@OBabasch, any comment from 🇩🇪 ?

#GermanyEU

@pmroman, well, that might be true, but, without explanation why the #GermanyEU system produces such results, just describing it as a whole, from outside, it seems to me (🇨🇿) the article correctly present some strange and troubling behavior of the German system.

@osz, any comment from 🇩🇪 ?

@pmroman, would you say more about

?

@Veza85UE, thank you for the link. What do you think about the analysis?

(I agree with the analysis. 🇨🇿 perspective.)

I want #MyEU conversation which is both pan-EU and "national". #BabelEU. #EnglishEU...

May I hear a reaction from #GermanyEU? (And #other places?)
