Low-Key-Ästhetik trifft auf warmes Bokeh. Bei diesem Portrait war es mein Ziel, das Modell durch eine gezielte, weiche Lichtführung vom tiefschwarzen Hintergrund zu lösen und gleichzeitig durch die unscharfen Lichtpunkte im Hintergrund eine intime Tiefe zu erzeugen. Es ist ein Spiel mit dem Unsichtbaren, das den Fokus voll auf den Ausdruck und die feinen Details legt.

Test Photos in Black and White in Gloomy Fog, Part I

Gloomy mood in the fog – my first tests with Ilford HP5 400 film in the Canon AE-1. The bare branches look almost ghostly in the grey haze. Analog photography just has that special, timeless atmosphere.
