So Clayton Fuller won the Georgia runoff (No surprise) but what was a surprise was by how small the margin was in what is a historically deep Red District that usually dick rides hard for Trump. This is showing a weakening in his support. When MTG ran it was a +25/+30 R situation while this one saw it drop to a +12/+15 R situation.

But Democrats need to really pull their heads out of their asses and not waste this opportunity. Which I have about 0% confidence in their ability to do considering the current leadership. But on the off chance they are paying attention, they need to not rely on the "Let Trump Hang himself with unpopular actions" tactic.

This will require them to actually do some work and actually speak to the importance of these times and how they plan on righting this sinking ship. If they don't and the midterms fumble...I truly believe you can sign the death certificate on this Experiment in Governance. I know the issue is a bit more complicated than all that, but limited characters and I am tired. More tomorrow.

In Georgia's recent parliamentary elections, the decisive factor in the ruling Georgian Dream party’s victory was the use of “carousels”: a method of vote rigging in which voters cast their ballots at more than one polling station. In this case, those involved were predominantly male, allowing the fraud to be detected through a gender-based study of data that the Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC) inadvertently provided to independent observers. Thousands of demonstrators in the Georgian capital have converged on parliament again in the capital of the South Caucasus nation. They are venting outrage against the governing party’s decision to suspend negotiations on joining the European Union. Riot police have deployed to push the protesters away from parliament. There already had been mass opposition protests against the disputed October parliamentary election. The demonstrations now have new life. Georgia's governing party has objected to European Parliament criticism of the election. The EU this week expressed its “serious concerns about the continuous democratic backsliding of the country.” Nearly 300 protesters have been detained and others have been hospitalized with injuries during the unrest.
