Everything I've read says companion rabbits should eat hay as about 80% of their diet, but no one has explained this to George who will only ever eat a few pieces no matter how many brands and varieties I try. But then we got this PetGreens Self-Grow Medley (oat, rye, and barley) for Rubin the cat, and it turns out George is a fresh grass kind of bun.

For enrichment, I made George a "dig box" by cutting up some toilet paper rolls (cleaner than soil). He does enjoy rooting around to find the pellets and treats I hide inside; only trouble is lots of rabbits poop when they eat and later *I* have to dig around to find all the surpises he left for me.

Everyone gathered together for Christmas breakfast. The cats are having a different wet food then usual to celebrate the occasion and George is munching on a treat. (Rubin, ever the moody teenager of the group, left the room as soon as he was done.) Merry Christmas from Charlotte, Rubin, George, and I.

Apparently George hates French? I dedcided to add Rosetta Stone to my language-learning efforts and started using the app right now during #GeorgeTheBun's morning playtime. He was happily munching on a little slice of *pomme* until my phone said *bonjour*. Rabbits stomp their back feet when they're angry or giving a warning--I'd never seen George do it until today! (My guess is it was the strange disembodied voice that was the problem, not actually the French).
