After a terrible Jason Statham movie, #GeorgeAndTheDragon (2004) was surprisingly good, better than I anticipated.

In this movie, the bloopers in the end credits came across rather differently.

#BillOddie and #PatrickSwayze in the same movie is surely a rarity, as well.

Yes, it had anachronisms coming out of its ears, from not really being sure what century and country it was set in, to the skateboard.

But it's a tale in over 8 centuries of such mediaeval romances that have been confused, unrealistic, and fanciful. It has some good company. (Filmed in Scotland and Luxembourg, per the credits.)

The #DreadPirateRoberts moment was telegraphed way ahead of time.

Much underrated and overlooked, I read afterwards (not wanting to spoil it, as this is one in the TiVo that I had never seen until today). If you've overlooked it, but like A Knight's Tale, Ladyhawke, Stardust, Dragonheart, Snow White And The Huntsman, and stuff like that, then give it a view.

With Trump's gross lack of self-respect / long list of mental issues, diplomacy tends to be a zero-sum game. As 'leaders', the two have to meet at some point I guess. It's just the USA right now - is it really the time and the place? #GeorgeAndTheDragon www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
