The more I think about #GeoffKeighley hype machine called #TheGameAwards, the more I believe it's both good an bad.

Think about it. Without the #TGA some games would have never had a chance, like #Expedition33, #ItTakesTwo, or #Inscryption if indies were a sidenote.

Hopefully next time he backs up a game, he does independent consulting first. He has the money to pay for that knowledge.

He is on point with #GeoffKeighley, he doesn't know what gamers want. He is good at producing and marketing, but has no "real" gaming taste to separate the potentially good from the forever bad.

I believe the guys at #Highguard did the right thing: stay silent until release.

The negativity is unavoidable.

The game has to stand on its own. Any other words outside of it, like those by the developers or Geoff himself, are going to be scrutinized into oblivion.
