I decided to go for gold because always thought getting all the platinum medals was too ridiculous of an achievement. But I now realize I am a ridiculous woman, and also experienced that all platinum may not be entirely impossible.

Therefore, I'm accepting that challenge~ 💪

Something I like about #GeoGuessr is that unlike other of my past gaming obsessions, it leads me to learning things about the real world.

Okay, most of it is pretty useless, but it's neat that I'm mostly able to read Cyrillic now, if slowly.

Gold帯に降格。NMPZできなくなったので、NoMove一本で勝負。
とりあえずここまでは2戦2勝。
再びMaster帯に上がった時に勝負になるよう、レートを750くらいまで上げられるようにしよう。（今、526・・・）

Nepal is really a tough one. Didn't make it past round 3 so far. It's most of all inconsistent.

HQ footage in Kathmandu is often 5K'able, but is often followed by a potato cam sandy mountain road with nothing to go on...

There are also lots of misspelled or missing place names on the map.

I need to really study the meta to get a good grasp of at least the region. 🙂

Anyone play the official #geoguessr and want to be "friends" with me?

I'm pretty new - been playing about 6 months. Really digging the upgrade to the free daily challenge they rolled out on April 1: five games, 3 minutes per game. My typical score is around 8-12k points, so I'm not very good. And I have no interest in upgrading to play more - I'd never stop, lol.

I don't even know what a "friend" means there but I think it'd be cool to compare scores and maybe chat.
