Can anybody share resources & other literatures on writing a preface to someone else's academic book?
I'm aware of the moves in the prefaces I read, but these are quite varied in shape, form, length, content and purpose (some read like an intro, some are written by the author themselves, some make broader claims about where the book is situated, etc.).
Grateful for any preface-writing suggestions or things written about writing them 🙂
