Nobody "looks like" anything. There is no such thing as "looking gay" or "looking straight" and to assume facts about a person based purely on their presentation is to do them a disservice.
Presentation, just like Gender and Orientation, are a spectrum. Yes, you can be #gay and dress #femme, or you could still be straight and dress #femme. #enby and my fellow #agender peeps don't owe you #androgyny simply for being between or outside of the gender binary.
And for the love of all that is holy, please do not assume a person is #trans simply because their AGAB does not match their presentation.

2. Microcode. RNA Conformation / #RNAConformation / "Environmental Influences on Gene Expression"
3. Firmware. Religion, languages, education, parenting, clergy, school, wartime vs. peacetime. Oceanside vs. inland, etc, etc.
3. Software. books, television, social media, films. Acquired knowledge, experience, mentors, teachers., friends, family, parenting, marriage
The "Overton Window" of behavior, and even how a nation may behave towards autism spectrum symptoms in one time period say 1985 vs. 2025. Different nations ("When In Rome, Do as the Romans Do" metaphor), different education in the community, wartime / dictatorship vs. access go information from across the world, etc, etc, etc.

WASHINGTON (AP) — "Legislation that aimed to bar transgender women and girls nationwide from participating in school athletic competitions designated for female athletes failed to advance Monday night in a divided Senate as Democrats stood united against an issue that Republicans leveraged in last year’s elections.
"A test vote on the bill failed to gain the 60 votes needed to advance in the chamber as senators stuck to party lines in a 51-45 vote tally.
"The bill sought to determine #TitleIX protections 'based solely on a person’s reproductive biology and genetics at birth.' The vote came as Republicans have homed in repeatedly on the social cause, casting it as an issue of ensuring athletic fairness for women and girls.
"President Donald #Trump signed an executive order last month giving federal agencies wide latitude to ensure entities that receive federal funding abide by Title IX in alignment with the administration’s view, which interprets 'sex' as the gender someone was assigned at birth.
"Still, Republicans in Congress have set their sights on enshrining that policy into law by amending the 1972 Title IX law, which protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance."
