The Department of #Health and #HumanServices today published in the Federal Register two Releases proposing rule changes that would effectively ban almost all #US. hospitals from providing #pharmaceutical or surgical #genderaffirming care to children and #adolescents under 18 years of age.

This week I'm going to take time to write and thank EVERY person that donated funds or a meal, after my #genderaffirming surgery. I'm also writing up a post that can help others who might be considering the same surgery.

I am so glad I asked for help. Even though the world is VERY hostile to trans people, and too many cisgender people mostly ignore this... there is a lot of love to be had. I let myself receive it!

I had my third post-surgery visit to the surgeon yesterday. Upon seeing my results he got confused & thought I was 2 months post procedure - I'm two 1/2 weeks out. Strength-building, yoga, vegan foods, meditation, & mindfulness work - as well as the work I put into a social network, and my therapist - are the major factors to my swift healing.

It's a major surgery, I have medical movement restrictions for five more weeks! But I'm doing well.
