How dafuq can it not know???? It's been all over the news. Yes, the man is guilty.

If I ask the same question about Michael Avenatti, it reads something off of an NBC news article.

Yikes! I put a couple of compounding interest questions to Gemini.

It got the formula right in the first question, but it was incapable of applying it properly. It made an arithmetic mistake, but I don't know where. Heck, I even plucked the formula out of its answer and asked to calculate the result in isolation, and then it got the right answer.

It failed miserably at the second one.

It did give seemingly plausible explanations. I did not scrutinize the explanations, but they appeared to be good.

I asked it to explain how it got the wrong answer to my second question, and it was unable to.

Artificial Intelligence???

I'd say artificial monkey-see-monkey-do.

Ok, as a lark I asked Gemini to draw me as a catgirl, and I got the following result.

First. It does not know what I look like, and it did not ask for a picture of me. For the record, I don't look like that cat.

Second. This is not a catgirl. Do an internet search if you must. I tried DuckDuckGo and Google and, yes, they both immediately knew what a bloody catgirl is. I cannot fathom why this **AI** does not bloody know.

Gemini gets an "are you fucking kidding me" grade on this task, or an F if you are a fan of letter grades.

There was another picture, but it is stupider than this one. Just a cat with some sort of sneer, basically.
