This week our plan of walking three consecutive stages of the Eifelsteig was turned into reality and we started No. 4 which leads from Einruhr to Gemünd near Euskirchen, Germany. This reflecting picture was shot in the first third of the trip before reaching the #Urfttalsperre and is a great proof for reflections, nature and an early morning aura!

Although I am not a follower of the Hvite Krist, the flair and the aura churches provide have always attracted me - and this impression even doubles when the church is empty and.. lost!

The lost village in the Eifel-area, #Wollseifen, is a place that was wiped away in the aftermath of #ww2 to become a military training area: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vogelsang_Training_Area

Before reaching the infamous Nazi-castle #Vogelsang, this place gave us the chance for a last short rest in the blistering heat!

After having had the probably most-cruel conditions with a cloudless and sunny sky with 29° C the last day, the next stage of the Eifelsteig from Schleiden to Gemünd started a little less heavy. This one shows some early morning-reflections once again!
