Forgot to post this last night. I primed them in black, then a layer of sponged on grey, and a final highlight layer of white. I'm planning some new to me ways of creating green color depth on these guys. It will involve pink. #Warhammer40K #MiniaturePainting #ChaoticQueer #GeekCrafts

I wanted to build shadows and didn't want the airbrush hassle. I also didn't want the speckling that rattle cans sometimes do. Lastly, I didn't want the chalky look of a dry brush. So, I busted into my cosplay makeup for a mini sponge. #Warhammer40K #MiniaturePainting #ChaoticQueer #GeekCrafts

Reminder... we have #LGBTQPride because we have to. It is a revolutionary act for us to march in the streets. When kids no longer have to "come out" and high control (culty) religions are no longer crossing the church/state barrier to pass laws against us, then we can stop having Pride.

Last night I walked into the session 0 for #CastlesAndCrusades fully intending to play a 'Hulk Smash' themed half orc barbarian. Outdoor rattle can priming in the sun is great, except when a bug lands on your project mid spray & you don't find it until stuff is dry. Oops. Managed to remove it with minimal damage to the mini. Bug was a goner. My Orks' first victim? #Warhammer40K #MiniaturePainting #ChaoticQueer #GeekCrafts
