GBG’s ID verification service arbitrarily limits middle names length, then fails

Subject: Please increase the length of the middle names field for driver’s licences ID verification
Hi,
I have just spent three anxious days trying to get my ID verified for a loan. The check kept bouncing at the lender’s on my driver’s license.
I finally offered to use a passport, which fortunately worked. However, when I got to do the verification check myself, I thought I’d try to see what was happening with the Driver’s License, so I tried it out first.
tl;dr: the “MIDDLE NAMES” field is required to be no more than 20 characters. I have three middle names, totalling 23 characters. This is why it didn’t work, as the names were fine on my ID documents but, I guess, could never match the truncated data.
I also note that the lender, presumably using a UI from GBG, was not informed of that limitation, and was therefore in the dark as to why the check was failing.
Please refer to https://www.kalzumeus.com/2010/06/17/falsehoods-programmers-believe-about-names/, and fix your system.
