Ukraine Renewing Drone Strikes on TurkStream Facilities, Gazprom Says

Gazprom said Thursday that Ukraine had again attacked a compressor station linked to the TurkStream gas pipeline, which runs under the Black Sea and carries natural gas to Europe through Turkey.

The Moscow Times

Ausverkauf kritischer deutscher #Energieinfrastruktur?

Market capitalisation of two energy companies as of March 2026:

That’s #Putin reverse Midas in action - whatever he touches turns from gold into shit.

Russia once had a number of globally competitive companies - Gazprom, Rosatom, Roskosmos etc.

But Putin and his circle see the whole country, every single citizen and company as his personal tool/weapon.

Russians therefore couldn’t resist the temptation to use Rosatom to kill Litvinenko and sabotage Ukraine’s nuclear power plants in 2015 (failed), and use Gazprom to impose energy blackmail on Europe in 2021 in violation of contracts, even though it was devastating for them from commercial point of view.
