I am both a mother and a father to my children. We live in a tent where even the simplest necessities of life are missing. Every night, I try to provide a little light so my children can continue their studies despite these difficult circumstances.
I used to rely on a battery to light our tent, but it has broken. Now we live in frightening darkness. Watching my children struggle to study without light breaks my heart, and I feel helpless because I cannot provide this basic need for them.

I never imagined that one day I would have to ask strangers for help just to provide the basic necessities for my family.
Every morning, I wake up carrying the same worry: how will I find food, water, medicine, and the things my children need today? The war has taken so much from us—our home, our safety, our stability—but it has not taken away my responsibility as a parent.
The hardest moments are when my children ask for something simple and I have no answer to give them. No parent should have to feel this helpless.
I am not asking for luxury or comfort. I am only asking for a chance to help my family survive these difficult days with dignity.

The day has come to an end, with its good moments and its hardships, its exhaustion and worries. It was another day much like all the others we live through in Gaza.
Today, the markets contain different kinds of food, vegetables, and fruits, but unfortunately the prices are extremely high, and most families cannot afford to provide what their children need.
My family and I are living through the same difficult reality. We struggle every day to secure the most basic necessities of life.
