1. Stayed #home all day
2. Chilly rain after a few too-warm-too-soon days. Celebrated with a Hot Honey (Barenjaeger liqueur & bourbon) with my honey.
3. Finished consolidating my #Mastodon accounts here at #GardenState. Severed ties with former, flaky server plagued by poor response & inaccessibility. Cleaned up contacts, many of whom the old server no longer sent updates. Maybe something got cluged when they migrated to different servers?

Yeah.

"Garden State" felt fresh and new when it was released but looking back on it with much older eyes it was really just a late Gen X/Early Millennial story about fetishing one's victimhood.

That said, it was this film that turned me onto James Mercer and The Shins so it did do that for me and for that I have to be grateful for it.
