It’s the very first peacock butterfly I’ve ever seen and it’s made all the time, money and effort seem worth it to have such a gorgeous visitor. My focus this year is very much on gardening for the environment around me rather than just for myself. It’s clearly paying off as I keep getting some wonderful helpers! My peony (in a raised bed) has gone very sad. The seller has told me it was my fault because it needs to be in the ground not a pot but everywhere I’ve looked says peonies in pots is fine.
