#Garden2023
Few pics from yesterday,
Roses
Bee on teasel
Firework alliums in Bunnytail grass
Today's fruit harvest 😁
First of the blackberries with lots more to come.
Strawberries still ticking over, the plants producing lots of runners now.
All the redcurrants and our first ever blackcurrants (I've already eaten them)
First lot of #NewPotatoes for 2023
820 grams in total.
Would have like a few more (as always) but they're all a reasonable size which is more important. I hate when they're the size of marbles.
Beautiful to clean, the skins rubbed off without any effort at all.
First proper day in the garden for weeks.
So much to do so started with deadheading and pulling the obvious weeds
The surprise for today was my Monarda has flowered, I'm sure this happened overnight!
Some photos of my purple iris.
It's growing bigger year on year but I may have to move it forward as it gets hidden by the honeysuckle foliage
First rose of the year!
