Men* can AND SHOULD get vaccinated as well. Not only to protect the women* you might be boinking (or not) but also to protect yourselves. The same virus family has been linked to penis cancer and other ugly shit.

* just to be clear: this goes for the trans and enby folks as well, you too were equipped with some sort of plumbing and require vaccination to protect yourselves. Stay safe.

#Gardasil is about 210€ per dose in #Germany and at least BKK Firmus pays without hassle if you ask them.

Great news: in the 5 years 2020-2024, know how many 20-24 year olds died of cervical cancer in England?

ZERO.

That's the first cohort of folks that age who were offered the HPV vaccine when they were 12 or 13.

Before the vaccine was used, on average about 20 people in that age range died of cervical cancer in a 5 year span.

We're looking forward to more dramatic results as that group enters their 30s & 40s.

@offbyone I remember when Barnaby Joyce didn’t want to approve the vaccine because it would make women promiscuous. He had four daughters then but it was before he went on to have to two kids with the junior staffer.
