I'm sure these are capable people, but with a lack of diversity inevitably comes a lacking variety of perspectives on games.

Not gonna lie, it kinda irritates me how much talk there is about indie games journalism now that ex corporate types are running stuff like Aftermath, while existing indie journalists like myself kinda get ignored.

There has always been great work done by independents in this field, they’re just the bloggers and YouTubers the community completely ignores.
