RELEASE THE CATTEN!
The Catten usually does nothing but observe and pass silent judgement, but when invoked it can enter combat.
Skinner just invoked it as he fell through the gate, so the Catten engages in combat with the witch hound and casts a serious healing spell on Tym.
The GM had to remember what the Catten could do. LOL.
Grainne has been chilling outside the inn (after passing through a gateway from a graveyard in an illusion) waiting for the rest of the party to catch up.
She told them to GTFO before she left. They haven't shown up ye—
oh, there's Brym. And the mysterious Catten (an NPC).
But the other three (and the dwarf) are still in there . . .
A tossed (airborne) dwarf does d8 damage when they land, apparently.

Seriously, the barbarian's player just said "I chuck Stig at the witch hound."
Stig weighs about 300 pounds. "He's more like a boulder."
