I'm thinking about buying this white shell to replace the one I broke. I think the white would look cute with the blue buttons.
I read that the solid color ones are less fragile than the translucent ones... I'll be the judge of that, since I'm apparently cursed when it comes to Game Boy mods.
I (and my wallet) have been through the wringer with this project. I am unsure whether I should attempt to fix the power issue, but it has turned off from using the L button at least once.
Got the reshell and ITA screen all put together and... two problems.
1. Power LED is flickering. I tried dripping in 99% IPA and flicking the switch rapidly, to no avail. Needs a deep clean, the kind where you desolder the shield to clean the switch track.
2. I cracked the shell. I think I got alcohol on it and also had the screws on too tight.

Really enjoying my Pokémon Emerald run that started as a failed Nuzlocke. Sapphire was the version I had as a kid so encountering the improvements to base Gen 3 has been fun.
Just beat Norman this morning. I forgot about how Norman's Slaking is the Gen 3 Whitney's Miltank, single handedly dealing many teams a very bad day.
Now to gear up for Winona. Are the polarized Pikas and Manetric my only electric options this gen?

Yesterday, I gave "X2: Wolverine's Revenge" a shot. It's loosely based on the movie but focused on Wolverine; I've seen it in 2003, so I don't remember it that much. There was PC/console game of the same title, but it was fully 3D and all. This one here is a 2D hack'n'slach side-scroller. Pixel art is really good here. I added it to favourites, to return to it later. The funny thing is that back then I wouldn't walk next to it, but now, it's a perfect product to play.
