My son has a dream to become a #GameStreamer. He's only eight, so we need to start off at a low budget. What's a setup that would allow some #streaming/recording?

Problem is I have no idea how a capture cards work... You plug it into a laptop with HDMI and then... pipe that to a second computer that streams/records? Or connect it directly to LAN and let it do the streaming?

I think recording is more important if you have to choose.
