Dumb game idea: "I Cast Bullet:" A first person RPG/FPS where you play a wizard whose magical focus is a mysterious heirloom artifact from a parallel world, something called a "gun."
A game called Seasons of the Witch, but it's about gardening, gathering herbs and wild mushrooms, dealing with pesky gnomes and unnecessarily elaborate potioncrafting.
It probably exists. But if it doesn't it should.

I think I'm kind of in my retro gaming / gaming history phase. So until further notice, every idea for a video game will start with "it's like The Oregon Trail"...
Has anyone ever made a game in which you play the other side of a side scrolling space shooter game?
Like having to defend against an impossibly strong spaceship by building lots of tiny ships and a boss thing?
I feel this could be a great idea for an idle game, maybe.

Someone should make a Darkest Dungeon mod, but where you are a FAANG programmer trying to survive the darkest software stack.

Visual Novel idea: you're the mayor of a Harvest Moon like town and you meet each of the "player characters" who move to town to farm and their various personalities... Maybe trying to grow your town while dealing with these random city folk's whims.
Maybe they will give you random objects as gifts as if they're trying to court you. ("Oh. A rock. Thanks.")
