While back in New Jersey for a bit, I hit some of the NYC RPG stores.
Compleat Strategist:
Best for trad games. Still a lot of old d20 game stock.
20-Sided Store:
Lots of solo & storytelling games. Also zine games.
Basically, the Strat is DriveThru, and 20-sided is Indie Press Revolution/itch.io
I recently stopped at a random library bookstore and picked up this RPG for two bucks.
It's apparently from 2000, from a now-defunct company.
Haven't read it yet, but it appears to be some kind of science fantasy heartbreaker.
I always find the existence of these little unknown forgotten RPGs a little sobering.
I'll probably read it once, make a character sheet, and run a single one-shot of it.
The dealer room at #DexLite2023 was a little sparse this year, but I picked up a few odds and ends.
I picked up the T&T module as I've always wanted to try that game.
I grabbed the GW module out of pure nostalgia, and the AD&D module because it was a 3 for 20$ sale.
