Il Tempo: Inwit, Galli: "Nostra rete irreplicabile e prezzi in linea con standard"
Roma, 28 mar. - (Adnkronos) - "La nostra rete, composta da circa 26 mila siti, è il risultato di 40 anni di lavoro di Tim, Vodafone e Inwit, che hanno potuto beneficiare del vantaggio del first-mover per costruire siti di massima qualità nelle migliori posizioni disponibili. Il 35% dei nostri siti si trova in posizioni uniche, come nel cuore delle grandi città, così come aree montane e borghi, più in generale circa il 75% della nostra rete non è replicabile. Uscire dalla rete Inwit vuol dire avere piano di rete alternativa con la costruzione di almeno 15 mila nuove torri che con un roll-out medio di 500 torri, richiederebbe 30 anni, con impatti sulla qualità del servizio e con un costo di ulteriori 2 miliardi. Ma anche con impatti ambientali notevoli con l'emissione di oltre 500.000 tonnellate di CO2. La duplicazione delle reti infrastrutturali non ha senso industriale, economico ed ambientale". Lo ha detto il direttore generale di Inwit, Diego Galli, nel corso di una conference call straordinaria con gli analisti per fare chiarezza su alcune informazioni e dichiarazioni riguardanti il Master Service Agreement (Msa) e il rapporto i clienti 'anchor', Tim e Fastweb+Vodafone.
"A ciò - ha ricordato - si aggiunge un tema di densificazione che sarebbe più rapida se i nostri anchor tenant si affidassero a Inwit che garantisce la migliore qualità ed estensione. In questi anni siamo diventati una macchina operativa efficiente realizzando 800 torri nuove ogni anno: è il processo migliore per la densificazione ma anche per la gestione finanziaria".
Per Galli "è importante chiarire che, tutti i nostri prezzi sono in linea con il mercato. Sono anzi più vantaggiosi, e ben al di sotto della media europea perchè il canone Msa include anche diritti esclusivi a beneficio degli 'anchor', come il diritto di veto e spazi riservati extra sui siti esistenti, che non rientrano nei termini standard degli Msa nei benchmark internazionali. Precisiamo anche che "nel caso in cui un 'anchor' dovesse recedere, l'altro continuerà a beneficiare delle medesime condizioni economiche. Sottoscrivere un accordo per poi recedere dall'Msa dopo otto anni equivale a contrarre un mutuo ventennale con una banca per poi smettere di rimborsarlo dopo otto anni". Dopo la call il titolo Inwit ha chiuso con un rialzo del +3,26%.
Inwit, Galli: "Our unrepeatable network and prices in line with standards”
Rome, March 28 – (Adnkronos) – “Our network, comprising approximately 26,000 sites, is the result of 40 years of work by Tim, Vodafone and Inwit, who were able to benefit from the first-mover advantage to build high-quality sites in the best available locations. 35% of our sites are located in unique positions, such as at the heart of major cities, as well as in mountainous areas and hamlets, more generally about 75% of our network is not replicable. Leaving the Inwit network means having an alternative network plan with the construction of at least 15,000 new towers, which, with an average rollout of 500 towers, would require 30 years, with impacts on service quality and with a cost of an additional 2 billion. But even with significant environmental impacts with the emission of over 500,000 tons of CO2. Duplicating infrastructure networks makes no industrial, economic or environmental sense.” This was stated by the CEO of Inwit, Diego Galli, during a special conference call with analysts to clarify some information and statements regarding the Master Service Agreement (MSA) and the relationship with ‘anchor’ customers, Tim and Fastweb+Vodafone.
“To this – he recalled – there is also a theme of densification which would be faster if our anchor tenants relied on Inwit which guarantees the best quality and extension. In these years we have become an efficient operational machine realizing 800 new towers every year: it is the best process for densification but also for financial management.”
For Galli, “it is important to clarify that all of our prices are in line with the market. They are in fact more advantageous, and well below the European average because the MSA clause also includes exclusive rights to the benefit of the ‘anchor’, such as the veto right and extra reserved spaces on existing sites, which do not fall within the standard terms of the MSA in international benchmarks. We also specify that “in the event that an ‘anchor’ were to terminate, the other would continue to benefit from the same economic conditions. Signing an agreement to then terminate the MSA after eight years is equivalent to taking out a 20-year mortgage with a bank to then stop paying it off after eight years.” After the call, the Inwit share closed with a rise of +3.26%.
