Last stop in #SriLanka: #GalleFort. From Unawatuna I went to visit this old Portuguese-Dutch fortress by the sea. Beautiful walls, colonial buildings, ocean views… and brutal heat.

It’s perfect for half a day, walking the ramparts, getting lost. But the sun was so intense I was basically moving from shade to shade like a vampire. It's nice, but not awesome. Go there if you have time to spend, not a must.

After that, train back to Colombo. Packed. Again. Standing, sweating, squeezed again.
