Also known by the name of its arcade machine counterpart, Rad Mobile. (Gameplay is basically identical.)

Not unlike Turbo Outrun, the game is a road race across the USA.

Interestingly, in its arcade machine form, this game was the first to feature Sonic the Hedgehog, albeit as an ornament hanging from the car's rear view mirror.

Just finished playing #RadMobile the first #SonicTheHedgehog game from 1991. It's a #Sega #racinggame with car sprites. A later version version was released for the #SegaSaturn called #GaleRacer that had polygon cars. Full video here https://youtube.com/live/vakwqjZiaFE
