Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold also enters One UI 8.5 beta testing in China

Samsung has been reportedly testing the Galaxy Z TriFold’s One UI 8.5 beta version for the Chinese units, as spotted by Mohammed Khatri, with build F9680ZCU3ZZCB/F9680CHC3ZZCB/F9680ZCU3BZB5.

This sets out a new development for the One UI 8.5 software, which means that the tri-folding device will soon enter the Beta Program, at least in China.

Today has already been a big day for those who are owning all the mentioned devices for the One UI 8.5 beta program. This means that the stable rollout of One UI 8.5 may not start until April or May, should testing reveal positive results.

Targi MWC w Barcelonie to tradycyjnie czas ważnych ogłoszeń dla branży mobilnej. Samsung przywiózł do Hiszpanii swoją najnowszą serię Galaxy S26, inteligentne zegarki i tablety.

Zamiast jednak skupiać się na marketingowych wizjach, sprawdzamy, co dokładnie zmieniło się w sprzęcie i oprogramowaniu koreańskiego producenta. Głównym punktem barcelońskiej prezentacji jest najnowsza linia flagowców, na czele z modelem Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Twardy sprzęt: nowy procesor, chłodzenie i aparaty

Wewnątrz topowego modelu zaszły konkretne zmiany mechaniczne, które mają udźwignąć lokalne przetwarzanie sztucznej inteligencji. Co znajdziemy pod maską i na zewnątrz?

• Nowy układ: Galaxy S26 Ultra napędza dedykowany procesor Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy.
• Lepsze chłodzenie: producent zastosował całkowicie przeprojektowaną komorę chłodzącą, aby utrzymać stabilność termiczną smartfona podczas intensywnej pracy algorytmów AI.
• Prywatność ekranu: na rynek trafia funkcja Privacy Display. Zapewnia ona kontrolę nad widocznością treści, ukrywając je przed osobami patrzącymi na nasz telefon z boku.

Koniec monopolu Bixby. Nowe funkcje oprogramowania

Wśród innych nowości oprogramowania znalazły się m.in.:

• Photo Assist: narzędzie pozwalające na edycję zdjęć za pomocą naturalnych poleceń głosowych (np. zmiana pory dnia na fotografii).
• Now Nudge: system, który analizuje kontekst w czasie rzeczywistym i np. automatycznie podpowiada wysłanie konkretnego zdjęcia z galerii, gdy rozmówca poprosi o nie w komunikatorze.
• Now Brief: funkcja generująca spersonalizowane, codzienne podsumowania na bazie harmonogramu użytkownika.

Ekosystem, satelity i tajemnicze nowości

Samsung zaprezentował również sprzęt towarzyszący: słuchawki Galaxy Buds4, tablet Tab S11 oraz serię zegarków Watch8. Zegarki oferują zaktualizowane funkcje zdrowotne związane z monitorowaniem snu i biegania, które integrują się m.in. z platformą Xealth (przejętą przez Samsunga w 2025 roku).

Ważnym krokiem jest także rozszerzanie funkcji łączności satelitarnej. Opcja ta, dostępna w wybranych flagowcach od 2025 roku (oraz w niektórych modelach z serii A), pozwala na wezwanie pomocy w miejscach bez zasięgu tradycyjnych sieci komórkowych.
