In other notes about this game series so far:

- This probably has my favorite puzzle design of most of the Sierra games. They make sense, but they're not so simple they're gimmes.
- The second game especially has some interesting puzzle design.
-I LOVE the research puzzles, they're hella fun.
-I want a remake where #GabrielKnight is canonically bi-curious.

I'm also playing this game at a point where there's kind of a smorgasbord of voice actors playing all the main parts. Like Tim Curry, Leah Remini, and Mark Hammil all voiced the OG #GabrielKnight, but they hired soundalikes for the remake.

Then you have the FMV actors in the second game (who, as previously stated, aren't bad).

And then the third is the weird 3rd-person-perspective "we need to make 3D games for the sake of making them" game that I played years ago but never beat.

I played the 20th Anniversary remake of the first #GabrielKnight game and it was pretty dang good. There are parts of the game that don't age super gracefully, even with the benefit of the remake (GK is a giant horndog, like Leisure Suit Larry levels of horny) but the main plot isn't one of them.

I also forgot how rooted these early Sierra adventure games can be in history. Like I literally learned things (hopefully not entirely untrue) playing this game.
