Event Report - GUADEC 2025

GUADEC is the GNOME community’s annual conference, it brings together hundreds of contributors and users from all over the world. This year, GUADEC was held in Brescia, Italy, from July 24th to July 29th 2025. Brescia is an absolutely stunning city, we were made aware of it right from the welcome event, the day before the event started, and confirmed it during our evening excursions around its alleys. What an amazing place, full of history, art and vibrant with life. 🌞 ...

Yes, #GUADEC2025 is over. We want to thanks all the in person and remote attendees, the volunteers, the staff and all those made this edition possible! 👏

The initial report is:
- 450 espresso coffee
- ~5kg of sweet pastries
- ~5kg of savory pastries
