Having said that, I built a damn good mapping system on the site. Combined with the most detailed traffic-free cycle route guides for UK routes that exists on the web, WillCycle is now an extremely good resource.
Don't just take my word for it though - go see for yourself.
Some things on the site, such as the route builder, and even the Strava personal Heatmap generator aren't unique, but lots of other things are, for example, my #GPSart generator.

Most of the work over the past several months focused on developing the Android app, and I'm delighted to say it's just about ready for beta testers.

What does the app do?
Well, obviously, it can record a route. You can also use it to do navigation, with dynamically updating voice turn-by-turn navigation.
You can generate a link to live-share your location (anyone with the link will be able to see your location on the map). That's perfect for that charity fundraising ride you're planning on. And once the ride's over, generate a new link, and the old one is instantly dead.
Want to meet up with a mate from elsewhere, and both of you are cycling? Share your live-share links with each other and each will have dynamic navigation to the other.

Then we get to the games! No, not video games. Cycling games, out in the real world!

Fairy Trails. I'd see 1000s using my unique #GPSart creator, and 1000s checking my rain radar map daily. I'm not seeing that, despite have bloody great functionality in place, combined with excellent content. Not quite sure how to solve this one, but I'll take it 1 day at a time.
If ONLY you considered yourself to be worth £2 per month, you get full navigation on all these routes, to do treasure hunts, turn-by-turn voice navigation on routes of your choosing, an ad-free experience, no limitations on #GPSart, and SO much more! But only you know if you're worth it!

And out of the blue, RideWithGPS started introducing a #TreasureHunt, which they call Scavenger Hunt. The original Treasure Hunt is only on #WillCycle, but as they say, immigration is the sincerest form of flattery. 😊 I wonder how long before they implement a #GPSart feature? 😂
This is a picture of a bicycle done in a single line, then transferred to the nearest cyclable roads in London, using the #WillCycle #GPSart generator. What GPS Art will YOU generate? It's free to do! www.willcycle.com/gps-art/

En gåtur efter gårdsdagens hårde indsats på de 10 km ved Den Grønne Halvmaraton i Lyngby.

Helt uden at ville det blev det en slags #GPSart synes jeg 😊

I built the very unique #GPSart generator, and I built a decent cycle route builder. Then I added in seeing no ads, at all. And, to show how confident I am people will like it, I offer a FULL month's free trial. No risk, no cost! And after that, it's just 7p per day. And yet, tumbleweed...
Part of me thinks it would've been good if I built some sort of basic counter into my #GPSart creator, so I could see how many routes people have built using it. As it is right now, I have no way of knowing that at all, nor can I see any routes built using it. www.willcycle.com/gps-art/
