Second day in a row #cycling down the #GOR to Kennett River for a coffee, then back to Lorne for some chippies -- completely unnecessary, but very enjoyable to sit on the grass eating and watching the ocean

2026/0403/1332 ⛅ painkalac and back

A mix of the #GOR, dirt roads and sandy single track #cycling up to Painkalac Reservoir and on down to Aireys Inlet. A #coffee at Fairhaven SLSC and back to Lorne ... almost being taken out by the ubiquitously inept close-passing tourist driver on the GOR

Intention had beens to ride from Waurn Ponds down to Lorne to join family. A 40C day, bushfires, and strong winds made it an interesting choice. Gale-force winds made for slow going down to Bellbrae, I pulled the pin and called for the team car. #Cycling #GOR #BikeTooter
