My only hope is that it all backfires. In the early 2010's, one red state after another passed gay marriage bans, but then in 2015 it was legalized throughout the country.

I don't have much hope, though. After 2016, GOP's bigotry went into overdrive and even today, several states are trying to pass gay marriage bans.
