20 Minuten vor Plan, ich habe einen früheren Zug nach London erreicht und liebe die Taktdichte und den fehlenden Reservierungszwang. Und die Tatsache, dass man auch bei Fast Midlands Railways in der 1. Klasse das Frühstück kostenlos nachholen kann. 😄 Das vegane Sausage Roll schmeckt jedenfalls gut.

Just got #Converge #Surf2Sawa fiber internet installed as a backup because #PLDT has been down for a week. Using #Globe's #GOMO as a backup is expensive, especially if PLDT is down for more than 2 days. Surf2Sawa is P50 per day (or P200/7 days), but it only connects 6 devices wirelessly, and the LAN port is disabled. Still better than spending P400 every 2 days on GOMO while waiting for PLDT to get their sh%t done.

finally got to call #pldt!

what worked:
#gomo - effectively 1.33 pesos per minute (pwede na!)
entering someone else's phone number - you can't reach a person if you have an existing ticket on your number so hack is to use someone else's. seems like their agent either doesn't check it against the number you give them during the call or they just disregard the discrepancy

Kein #CrossBorderRail, aber doch eine halbwegs anständige, regelmäßige #CrossBorderBus-Verbindung mit der ich noch den heutigen Bonustag von #watmitGüterstreken (ohne Güterstrecken) beginne.

Das Ticket Flensburg - Sønderborg kostet stolz-umgerechnete 15 Euro. Bezahlung nur in bar möglich (in Skandinavien sind doch alle so kartenaffin?), Rückgeld in DKK. Es gilt einzig der dänische #Sydtrafik-Tarif, D-Ticket bis Grenze wird auch nicht angerechnet.

My #Converge service is back, after being down for more than 24h.  

Their hotline was useless. The IVR validates your account, then a recording will tell you the that their service is indeed down in your area, without saying when to expect services to be restored, then call is terminated.

My backup SIM from @pinoy #GoMo saved the day. It's pay-as-you-go with cheap data rates, credits don't expire, while the SIM itself may expire after a year of inactivity.
