"Patience" is a song by American #rock band #GunsNRoses from their second studio album, #GNRLies (1988), released as a single in March 1989. The song peaked at number four on the US #Billboard Hot 100. The song is a ballad, played using three #acousticGuitars and was recorded in a single session by producer #MikeClink. A #musicVideo of the song was shot and appears on the band's music video DVD, #WelcomeToTheVideos.

#GNRLies von #GunsNRoses wurde 1988 veröffentlicht, kombiniert Studioaufnahmen mit der EP „Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide“ und erreichte in den USA Platz 2 der Billboard 200 sowie fünffaches Platin. Das Album schaffte es in Deutschland auf Platz 37, in Großbritannien auf Platz 22. Die einzige Single „Patience“ kletterte bis auf Platz 4 der US-Charts und wurde auf drei Westerngitarren während einer spontanen Studiosession eingespielt.
