After all, it has the #GMA500 GPU without any good working #Linux driver [publicly available] and I'd rather want a OS that fits neatly in RAM whilst not restricting me too hard...

I really want to see something in the same form factor, and yes, it's Z520 CPU and the shitty #GMA500 GPU that #Intel refuses to support make it really bad.
OFC a modern reincarnation that may be a bit bigger in exchange for a less crammed keyboard or just a remake with modern and better parts would be awesome, espechally since modern SoCs really are good.
But yeah it predated the ubiquitious #Z3735F & Atom-x.

Cuz it's extremely frustrating for users like @fuchsiii when their #Linux-compatible #GPU is less reliable than the shitty #GMA500!
Espechally since we're talking about a €1k+ GPU and not some shitty Voltari Z11 / SiliconMotion SM750-based VGA card that is being sold for €10 with shipping on Aperzon!

I explicitly chose #Ubuntu LTS 20.04 because the device was officially supported.
Still I'll stay mad for the refusal of #Lenovo, #Fibocom & #Intel to provide drivers for the integrated #WWAN modem:
Fibocom #850GL - which is just a rebadged Intel #XMM7360...
Because I know drivers for it exist - just like Intel refusing to release the Driver for the #GMA500 aka. #ImaginationTech PowerVR SGX GPU known als #Poulsbo...
