#GLAMWikiPT has been a thought provoking conference, with lots to ponder and plenty of inspirational stories. The presentation by Olena Vinsent and Viacheslav Mamon of Wikimedia Ukraine was especially important. They've been using the Wiki Loves Monuments photography competition to gather images of heritage sites threatened by war. There is emphasis on sites that have been damaged or destroyed by the ongoing war. Without these efforts, heritage disappears from view.
