Its GCSE results day, and I'm glad to say my son did OK. A couple E's, a couple C's and D's in between. Its OK, he struggles with school and work so I wasn't expecting the world. I'm proud he did so well, and now he can look forward to college.

Hats off to my Ex wife for getting him through this with such decent results.

Well done to all students receiving
GCSE, BTEC Awards and other Level 2 results today!

Hard work, determination, and resilience pay off - but these results are only one measure of what amazing things you can go on to achieve!

An old favourite for #GCSEResultsDay.

Even by the standards of the Torygraph this seems harsh..

It's #GCSEResultsDay! Good luck to everyone receiving their results.

On this #gcseresultsday I’d like to give a shout-out to my science teacher, who rang me mid-panic-attack to tell me that I was doomed to fail my GCSEs.

I later passed with all A*s and Bs, made it through college and into university, where I graduated with first-class honours.
