no show has made me cry so much as the “where are they now” at the end of each season of The Great British #Sewing Bee. it’s produced by a company called Love Productions and it’s the most perfect example of nominative determinism.
season 6 just broke me. Clare, the winner, is a doctor and this was the season filmed right before the pandemic. so the last photo is of Clare in a biohazard suit with a full face shield, respirator and mask, giving a thumbs up from a surgery theater.

SwiftBeen trying to do #sewing, making Palazzo pants from a great British sewing bee #gbsb pattern I found on web...without instructions!
I learnt French seams - nice! And I learnt how to adjust pattern to be less "hungry bum". But the waistband was beyond me - for one it's too short and I couldn't figure out zips or pockets. More to learn!
Just catching up with last night’s Great British Sewing Bee. Love the first challenge - using vintage tablecloths to make blouses.
