Earlier today my buddy Sean from Philly stayed an helped me set up that kiln I have been too busy to set up.

Sean used to work on the electrical in cars before he became a glassblower and studio technician. Currently building a web streaming and plasma studio of his own in Philly.

We almost got to a test firing- but one leg of the 240 volts was a dud- so they just gotta run that red wire to the other side of the 120 in the breaker.

It's so exciting to potentially have this thing working! I gotta email some people to get some electricians to rewire this thing... It was wired for 240 volts with 50amps, But I really only have 120v hot wire.
