I still have photos from Eurofurence 17 that have never been sorted and uploaded, because I moved to another country the day after getting home from the con and never got around to it. I guess it's about time to fix that.

RealZeroI just recently learned about the website "Furtrack" which is basically a photo gallery for Fursuits that uses a tagging system similar to "Booru" image websites, like what e621 also is.
It seems quite nice and to really be a passion project.
So, I'll start using it and uploaded my first five pics I took that I consider "good enough".
I do NOT consider myself "photograph". I usually only use my phone and I've not learned anything about it really.
But maybe occasionally it'll be nice and maybe it's better to have "okay" photos of a suit instead of none at all.
And hey...maybe I'll improve one day!
My photos are not visible yet, as they're still pending approval. π
Question for people who are used to #Furtrack: What's the cultural norm for photos of unknown characters?
After uploading the easy parts of my haul from ConFuzzled 2025 (https://www.furtrack.com/user/Creideiki/photography), I am left with 73 photos containing unknown characters. This includes situations such as:
* No (legible) badge, no matches when searching Furtrack for general species, colour, and event.
* Group photo, some identified, some not.
* Legible badge, but no hits on Furtrack, FurAffinity, social media, or general Internet search on that name.
* Legible badge that leads only to the person inside the suit, not the suit itself.
What's the done thing in such circumstances? Don't upload? Upload with no character tag but as detailed species and description tags as possible? Tag as "unknown_character" or similar?
