Delightful. This is (mostly) a lightweight show, but when things get serious (as they do here) Gemma Arterton really has the acting chops to make it work. This episode, more than any other, had some very emotional and rewarding moments. A lot of storylines come to fruition here, as it may be the last ever episode. Despite all the conflict and problems faced by the characters, this is a show were most of the characters are fundamentally very nice people. Decent, caring people. It’s one reason the show is so enjoyable to watch. Feel good television. 10/10

Love seeing Roisin Conaty join the show. Strong storyline for Bill in this one, with ramifications in Marjorie’s love life. Really did not see that coming. Big step forward in the key romance. Terrific final seconds. 10/10

Sophie returns to rehearsals with the boys amidst media gossip about a romance with her French co-star. A night out to blow off some steam results in a chance meeting that helps reinvigorate their ideas for the new show.
Woke up to the news that @janeygodley has passed overnight. I absolutely adore Janey and was fortunate enough to see her live and meet her on several occasions as well as interacting with her online. Thank you for all the laughs and joy Janey and thank you for your tireless work in raising awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer.

No matter how cheesy it gets, I love this show and I am very invested in Barbara’s journey to the top. Lot of storylines in play in this episode, and they all move forward at rapid pace. After watching the climactic swearing-on-live-TV scene, I rewatched the opening minutes again to admire how subtly it was set up. Impressive. 10/10

Sophie's got the gang back together, but it's not the same. Bill is distracted writing his novel, Tony is not thrilled with shouldering the sitcom workload and it's all super awkward with Dennis following his divorce bombshell.

Gemma Arterton: The main appeal of this show is definitely the star. Arterton is wonderful. Sophie Straw: The adorable main character is another reason to watch. We want this heroine to overcome all obstacles and succeed. World of TV: For me, the coolest thing in seeing behind the scenes at these television shows. Josie Lawrence and Jack Docherty, in particular, were hilarious. The Sixties: The show’s eagerness to embrace/emulate/recreate the 1960s is a huge part of it’s charm. The music and the visual style are irresistible. The Love Story: We want these two lovers to find a way. The Comedy: The show is frequently hilarious. 10/10
