Thug m’athair feadáin shínteacha agus dhá lionsa Zeiss dom ⁊ d’fhéadas súgradh le #MacroPhotography. Seo dhaoibh fungus gnat (cuil fungais?) marbh, is dóigh liom.

@nev Crazy, eh? Here's a pic of the transparent sleeve sans larva. This is something that a lot of flies in the Mycetophilidae do. Predaceous, I suspect. #fly #diptera #FungusGnat

Finally (drumroll) the most abundant species in the processed samples.

Things I would never have recorded myself:

Cortinicara gibbosa (#beetle), Dumbletoniella callistemoni and Trialeurodes vaporiarorum (#WhiteFlies), Psychoda albipennis (#MothFly), Lycoriella sativae (#FungusGnat), Aphis spiraecola (#Aphid)

Three #moths. Two (Hoplostega ochroma and Phelotis cognata) are very familiar. I recognise Bedellia somnulentella, but I would never have been confident on the species otherwise.
